What is actually free
You can import, merge, organize, detect text, annotate, add a visual signature, and prepare a document without a subscription. Ordinary editing stays local in the browser.
Free does not mean an unmarked output: it adds “Edited with PDFScene.com”. You can still prepare and check the file before choosing a clean output.
When Free is enough
Free suits drafts, internal review, or a document where the watermark is acceptable. Use the one-off credit or Pro for a final unmarked copy.
No account is required to start. The AI assistant is a separate Pro cloud feature.
