PDF Scene

Fill a PDF form with AI without leaving your device

On a scanned or vector PDF made editable, the Pro assistant detects labels and blanks (dots, dashes, AcroForm). You state the value; the tool updates the canvas content. Editing stays local; understanding the request uses the Pro cloud assistant.

Steps

  1. Import the form into PDF Scene.
  2. Make text editable if needed (detection / OCR).
  3. Open the AI assistant (Pro) and ask e.g. “Fill Name with Alice Martin”.
  4. Review fields, then export without a watermark with Pro.

Prepare the values

A request such as “Fill Name with Alice Martin and Date with 14/08/2026” reduces ambiguity. For a long form, group fields by page and identify missing values instead of asking the assistant to guess.

The assistant can work with AcroForm fields or detected text such as “Name: ……”. On a scan, run detection or OCR first and correct blocks that were read incorrectly.

Human review is required

Compare every name, amount, date, and checkbox with the source data. An ambiguous label, missing field, or OCR error can leave an incomplete result.

Document editing stays in the browser, but the messages and structured excerpt needed by the Pro assistant transit to cloud AI. Do not use this mode when that transfer conflicts with your internal rules.

Frequently asked questions

Can the assistant fill a PDF without AcroForm?

Yes. It can use detected text and blanks such as “Name: ……”, after you check the rendering.

Can I let AI invent a missing value?

No. Provide the data or leave the field for review; validate every result.

Is the complete document sent to AI?

Editing stays local, but the messages and a structured document excerpt are sent to cloud AI for the Pro request.
