Start with the purpose of the dossier

A file for sending does not have the same structure as a file for archiving. Identify the cover, required evidence, appendices, and pages that must not leave.

Thumbnails provide an overview that page-by-page reading misses. After each move, check printed numbering and orientation.

Reorder, split, and delete are different jobs

Reordering keeps pages and changes their sequence. Deleting removes pages that must not be sent. Extracting or splitting creates a selection for another file.

Keeping those decisions separate prevents a presentation fix from becoming an accidental disclosure. Preserve the source before deleting anything.

Check the final dossier

Open the exported result and test the first and last pages, rotations, and images. For a sensitive dossier, confirm that removed material is absent from thumbnails and the final file.
